Use the File> 'Server setting' menu to open the server setting dialog where you will find a few setting that affects the server's behaviour.

Server port: The port the server will use to connect to the clients. You must use the same port setting both for the server & the client, otherwise clients will never be able to connect to the server & your system may get locked! If you use a filewall on the server machine, you must permit CafeMan server through the firewall.
Database: This is the Microsoft Access 2000 format database that CafeMan use to store data, Do not change it unless you are an expert & understand everything.
Load with windows startup: Makes CafeMan server to run automatically each time your windows session starts. Note: You must have administrative rights on the user account you log in to run CafeMan & you must log into your Windows user account to allow CafeMan to run automatically at startup. User accounts are not an issue on Windows 98.
Auto start server: Makes CafeMan server to be started automatically whenever the application is ran. Running the application and starting the server are not same thing, server must be started after starting the application to accept connections from the clients.
Stay minimized on startup: Puts the CafeMan server into your system tray when that application is started. In Windows 98, system tray is not supported.
Password to restore from system tray: This is a basic security. While minimized in the system tray, you will require a password to restore the CafeMan server.
Note: Some changes might require the server to restart to take effect depending on your operating system & system resources.
