Whoever to use the system on any client machine where the CafeMan client application is running, he/she must have to be a user of the system. There are two types of user, client user & system user. Client users are the users who pays you for using your machine. The sysyem users are the users who are suppose to be persons like you or the maintenance person.

Use 'User> User management' from the menu to bring the user management panel.

Here you will see basically a search interface where you will be able to put several attributes and find any user on the system. Here finding a user doesn't mean finding an online client but finding information of a client who uses your system. Use the text & dropdown boxes to specify your search criteria & press the the search button for results. Double click on a user to edit his/her information. You can also remove user(s) from the system using this panel.

Add new user to the system:
You can use either the user management panel's toolbar or the 'User> Add new' menu to add a new user to the system.

Here you specify the informations about the user and create the user account with the desired username & password. Except username, type & credit, all other information are updatable by the user from the client system. You must specify the user type from the type dropdown list. This way of adding a user is recommended only for post paid or administrative user. We recommend you to follow the normal pre paid card way to add a new user of pre paid type to the system.

Adding a new user to the system is exactly like creating a new email account. This enables the user to log into the system from any client machine using the specified username & password that allows him/her to use the resource of the client machine. The user account is suspended when the credit goes down than the amount you specified here and remains suspended untill the account is not recharged or managed from the user update panel.

Updating a user:
From the user list grid, double click on the user you want to update information for. This will come up with a user update panel.

This is same as adding a new user except that you cannot change the username. You can even change the type of the user from here & manage the credit amount of the user. Also, we recommend you not to use this panel for pre paid users.
