How long will I be able to use it for free?
You will be able to use it for free as long as you wish. The only limitation is that the server will not accept more than three simultenous clients with the free license The client application is freeware.
Client not responding!
After installing the client, you must set the server IP correctly, otherwise it may even hang your machine and need to reformat. If you have mistakenly provided the wrong server IP & the client is not letting you in, follow the steps; 1. Start Windows in Safe mode, 2. Browsr to the folder where you installed the client, 3. Open the Client.INI with NotePad, 4. Change the Server IP to the correct IP, 5. Restart machine.
How to backup existing data?
Simply copy/backup the database file used by CafeMan Server. If you don't know where the database is, use the CafeMan Server's setting panel to locate it.
How to restore existing data?
There are two ways you can do it. Either locate the database that you want CafeMan to use from the Settings window, or copy the database that you want CafeMan to use to it's program location (you have to overwrite the default database in this case).
Server is running & clients have the correct server IP, but connections are not made!

See if you are using a firewall. In this case, you must configure the firewall to let CafeMan Server and CafeMan Clients to pass through. If you don't know much about it, consult with your Network administrator.

Another situation can cause this trouble; CafeMan server & the clients are on different Networks where the server is not on the gateway machine in it's network. In such a case, you have to use a software like TCP Bridge that works as a bridge between the clients & the server in at least two different networks.
